AliveCor develops phone enabled heart monitor

Have you got an idea for a clinical innovation? Have you marketed a product? If you have or are thinking about starting up it may be worth considering the data.

This small simple device can take a ECG within 30 seconds, and they have recently published a study that demonstrates it’s effectiveness. This approach to promoting their product rather than using gimmicks and charismatic leaders demonstrates that for innovation to be taken seriously in the digital health world data and evidence is imperative. Take the recent interview on Radio 4’s inside health programme, Babylon were repeatedly questioned by the resident health expert and skeptic Dr Margaret McCartney to demonstrate the evidence. YA
